Why Stay With Me?

If you are new to Airbnb, you may find it a bit intimidating, to say the least.  "What if they don't like me?"  "What if they don't like my space?"  "Am I charging enough?"  "Am I charging too much?"  "What if nobody books me?"  "What if they trash me in their review?"

You're not alone.

The good news is that the Airbnb concept is taking off because more and more people are finding that there is something in that model that fills their bucket that they don't get in more formal hospitality environments.

The bad news is that the Airbnb concept is taking off because more and more people are finding that there is something in that model that fills their bucket that they don't get in more formal hospitality environments.

Ergo, there are an ever-increasing number of hosts with dollar signs in their eyes that are going to be creating some pretty fierce competition.

Just like any business where one has competitors, one of the biggest secrets of Airbnb success is to learn how to effectively market yourself as well as to effectively differentiate yourself, and find ways to both emphasize the quality and appeal of the space you provide AND the positive differences that you provide that other properties might not.

In the coming days, I'll be writing about both of those concepts, and will be sharing some tips and tricks that will put you at the top of the heap, so to speak.  :)

Stay tuned!
